Memo to Women in Indiana: Your body is not yours it belongs to the state

In draft legislation before the Indiana legislature here, the people elected by the citizens of Indiana are drafting new legislation that will make marriage a requirement for motherhood in that state, and have included specific criminal penalties for unmarried women who do become pregnant "by means other than sexual intercourse."

Wow!

Sounds similar to some of the anti-abortion legislation proposed in South Dakota - where a woman would not be allowed to chose to terminate her pregnancy even if she was the victim of rape or incest...those crazy americans!

In this case, those crazy Republicans. I hope Steve isn't getting any of these crazy ideas in his conversations with Dubya.
