Dear pumpernickel. That's, indeed, pathetic. Reminds me of the time I was working for a biscuit and soup company in Australia, and I took some rice crackers - made by some little Aussie company - into a meeting with my boss (I was hungry and wanted to nibble!) She made me chuck them out. She subsequently gave me a low rating on my yearly review under 'brand loyalty'.

Work is work. Everything else is life, where our choices shouldn't be forced on us by anyone, let along corporate dictators....
